The MOMENT has screened to audiences in UK, Europe, Canada, USA and Hong Kong.
The unique technical platform that “The MOMENT” runs on was been developed over 4 years. The technology has been proven in the field and has the technical support from experienced researchers from the Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham.
The MOMENT’s themes mirror moves from current technology leaders such as Facebook, Google and Elon Musk to develop Brain computer interfaces for mass markets, these are the people that are going to have a dramatic influence on our futures. Science fiction often asks the audience what it means to be human, we may in our near futures be confronted with this very question. By incorporating the very technology that this film discusses, audiences are provoked to actively engaging in this conversation.
Viewers interact with the film via bluetooth headsets. Each viewing produces a unique experiential narrative. The film has been designed to be engaged with again and again.
The MOMENT can be shown to audiences in Cinema settings with one participant controlling the film to large audiences.
Our cinema caravan can travel to festivals , conferences and science fairs.
