AlbinoMosquito houses artistic and client based work led by Artist, Director and Researcher Richard Ramchurn. The studio continues to collaborate with artists with diverse skills to produce innovative work.
AlbinoMosquito have been commissioned by: The Arts Council England, The Royal Society of Chemistry, The Royal Exchange, The Space, Dundee College, BRIC Brooklyn. The work has been shown at The Tate Modern, Manchester University, Manchester Central Library, Contact MCR, The Royal Northern School of Music. Internationally Albinonmosquito have produced and shown work in, Copenhagen, New York, San Jose, The Netherlands, Milan and Kurdistan.


AlbinoMosquito never stand still, with no fixed methodology our approach to creating art is tailored to meet the needs of a wide range of clients and projects.

FINAL DISADVANTAGES OF TIME TRAVEL POSTER (WEB)The first film created especially for the Scanners Project: “The Disadvantages Of Time Travel” will premier at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) July 17th -26th 11am-6pm Tues-Sun FREE.
“The Disadvantages of Time Travel” is a narrative film that viewers can engage with on a one to one level.

Everyone will see a different version of this film, each scene varies from person to person as the audio and visual experience is driven by the viewer’s brain waves.

Written and directed by Richard Ramchurn.The film was created from fragments of memory recalled in therapy. The story of a young boy who discovers that he can control his world by ‘cutting off’ what is happening around himself. Traveling through time to skip over his everyday experiences.

Scanners is supported by the Arts Council, Nottingham University and B3 Media
