The Pleasant Sunday Afternoon
Published: Oct 12th, 2011
We would like to thank everybody who had overcome their laziness during these gray days in Manchester and came to see the Pleasant Sunday Afternoon Society event at Zion Arts Centre last Sunday.
Thanks to Zion Arts Centre and to Liz O’Neal in particular for giving us the opportunity to create the audio/visual content of the event. We hope you liked the Installation we made in the main auditorium with dancer Louise Brodie and a musical composition by Gareth Bibby and Alex Clarkson flickering side by side to her emotional performance.
It was really exciting to contemplate the work of all performers and the young enthusiasts taking part in all undoubtedly creative and fun activities. It was a great pleasure to work with director Jonathan Mcgrath and the Performers from the Dundee College.
It was massive challenge due to the scale of the project, but we are very pleased with the final result, it was a great creative process and we enjoyed collaborating with everyone involved.
Thank you for this really pleasant Sunday afternoon!
We are in the process of cutting a documentary of the event which will be posted soon, in the mean time you can glimpse some moments of that pleasant Sunday afternoon:
